This is where I think.

My practice begins with an obsession: can we find order in a universe doomed to chaos? 

I arrived at art through a logical and somehow empirical conclusion: the discovery that it was the only language vast enough to contain the complexity of my thought processes. Encountering Kandinsky’s Point and Line to Plane was my turning point: it revealed that theory is not a limit to practice, but its vital foundation.

The texts gathered here represent the written layer of my research. Some are theoretical, about my system and my archetypes. Others are more philosophical in nature, with a lot of science involved. There are some retrospective about my work, where I think of the meaning, cross-references and hidden layers. Some others take unexpected turns, with a hint of humor.
I am building a world that follows precise rules, an ecosystem of processes that may one day grow larger than I am. It is the only way I know how to inhabit reality: by transforming chaos into a system of conscious choices. In that rigor, I find a form of freedom.

My artistic work is deeply personal, philosophical, grounded in science, intimate and honest: a mind looking for answers.

Camus exhorted us to imagine Sisyphus happy. I like to think that we can imagine the artist happy, too. I know I am.
