Mirror Mirror

Mirror Mirror originates in a building I pass through, for work, on my days in Basel — one that photography turns into its own opposite: no longer the neutral backdrop of everyday life, but a field of tension between form and dissolution.

Through layered digital manipulation, images of the glass façade bring the joints and profiles of the curtain wall back to the surface. The architectural structure resurfaces beneath the chromatic field that rewrites it, never fully erased, never fully legible. The building becomes a study in resistance: a structure tested by its own transformation.

The series investigates form under pressure: the building does not stop being what it is, even as it becomes, through digital light, something it had never been.
