Genesi // Hybrids

Hybrids departs from the fourteen Progenitors selected through the generative process of Genesi — first-generation forms extracted from algorithmic noise through Darwinian selection.

Through digital recombination, pairs of Progenitors are merged into emergent structures of greater complexity. The artist intervenes as a selective force, choosing which forms to preserve and combine — an act of artificial selection applied to light.

The resulting Hybrids carry the algorithmic potential of both parents while possessing a vitality that belongs to neither. Complexity as inheritance. Order as a deliberate act. Beauty emerges from chaos.
