Origins

Before the theory, there was the work.

Between late 2024 and 2025, I produced a large body of exploratory series through photography and digital manipulation. I was working with light, texture, dissolution, transformation — without yet possessing a conceptual language to describe what I was doing. The Compass of Light did not exist. The four archetypes had no names. And yet, looking back, they were already operating in the practice.

Origins is the corpus that proves this. It is not a coherent project conceived as such — it is an archaeology, a selection of series that document the proto-activation of the archetypes before their formalization. These works were made by instinct, by curiosity, by the progressive training of an eye learning to see differently. The framework emerged from them, not the other way around.

The selected series in Origins activate light as a witness, light as agent of transformation, light as actor of dissolution. These roles are what I would have called later the Oracle, the Alchemist and the Eschaton. Here, unnamed but already present, is where they started to emerge.
