820 investigates the eight minutes and twenty seconds it takes sunlight to reach Earth — the delay that makes every ray of light a message from a past already dissolved at its source.
Shadows cast in the artist’s domestic environment become material archives of that interval: geometric traces of photons that no longer exist in the configuration we observe. Ordinary interiors transform into sites where cosmic time and domestic space intersect, and the act of photographing becomes an act of witness against forgetting.
