Spectral Spring
Spectral Spring departs from the treetops along the avenue of Venice’s Parco dei Giardini della Biennale — photographed on a sunny day, foliage bathed in natural light.
That light is then metabolized and rewritten. The sky collapses into a black void. The leaves shift into impossible spectral tones, stripped of their botanical certainty. What remains is the memory of light held within the canopy — the forest transformed into a glowing apparition against darkness.
The Alchemist’s gesture: light as reagent, altering the ontology of what it touches.
