The Broken Sky

The Broken Sky departs from cosmological images captured by space telescopes — light from stars long extinct, arriving now as a signal from a past already dissolved at its source.

Through chromatic inversion and digital reworking, those celestial vistas are dragged down to earth. The sky fractures. The familiar becomes spectral, fragile, almost geological. What the telescope recorded as infinite void transforms into something tangible and mortal.

Light as memento mori: the most ancient signal we can perceive, carrying the entropic destiny of all information.
