(Through) The Looking Glass

In an explicit homage to Lewis Carroll, (Through) The Looking Glass treats the scanner’s glass as the mythical mirror through which Alice passed. The scanner thus becomes a visual portal where, just as in Carroll’s inverted world, the logic of the familiar is suspended.

Everyday objects, passed through this digital threshold, are reinterpreted into abstract and mirrored geometries, revealing hidden macro-realities and uncanny forms. The series investigates how this digital mediation reshapes perception, turning the ordinary into an evocative and liminal space. Light becomes a structural and poetic element, guiding the eye across the reflections, layers, and unexpected symmetries of this world on the other side of the looking glass.
