Walls

Walls comprises variations across seven sub-series, each beginning with close-up photographs of Venetian walls.

Through digital reworking, these surfaces are transformed into abstract landscapes, marine maps, and stratified memories. Layers of paint, salt-laden moisture, and traces of repair and decay reveal the city inscribed in its textures—epochs overlapping, materials surfacing, ruins in flux. Each variation explores a distinct visual tone while maintaining a shared material origin and imaginative resonance.

The series investigates perception, memory, and the poetic possibilities hidden within urban surfaces.
