The Looking Glass is a series that begins with the act of scanning — a ritual of pressing everyday objects against a glass surface: plastic plants, figurines, rocks, pens, body parts. These personal artifacts, rooted in domestic life, are captured in forensic detail, only to be digitally transformed into images that are abstract, elusive, and strangely alive. The scanner becomes a portal — a modern mirror — through which the ordinary slips into the uncanny. What once served as utility or decoration is reimagined into spectral forms that hover between object and echo, memory and invention.
In this tension between documentation and distortion, The Looking Glass reveals the invisible layers of meaning embedded in the things we live with and overlook.
